I'd like to fill the tap holes in our cast iron bath but not sure if it's possible?
My first thoughts were welding fillers in then re-enamelling the batch, but then thought about the liquid metal stuff I've used in the past instead of welding.

Any thoughts on what the best thing to do might be? I don't want to replace the bath though

TIA

Would rather have the appearance of the holes never being there. Blanks will do the job but it needs to be aesthetically pleasing also if at all possible.

Wondering if this might do the job -
might be an easier onsite task than welding:

Actually, I've used this years back at the steelworks - might do the trick followed by a re-enamel:

I think they’re filed with resin or other filler and then the surface re-enameled. Whilst this is a DIY site I would consider employing a local specialist bath repairer for a first class job. No doubt expensive compared to a DIY effort but the cost will reflect the skilled and specialist nature of the job.

Are you talking about on-site or sending the bath away to be re-enamelled properly as opposed to painted on site. If it is the latter then whoever does it will fill the holes in for you. There is a lot of heat involved in enamelling a bath properly.

Did you attempt this is the end? If so what products did you use and how did it turn out? I need to do the same. Thanks
