Hi,
Probably a simple question.
I have a concrete solid floor from where I have removed a carpet in order to lay a laminate flooring. By removing the wooden tack strip grippers which were nailed to the floor by the skirting boards, parts of the old brown Marley vinyl tiles broke (these could contain a small amount of asbestos I have been told). Could I just put a layer of DPM paint in the gaps and then fill them with a bit off sand and cement prior to laying the underlay and laminate flooring? The depths are about 4mm.
Thank you!
