The actress Frances Barber resigned from Labour over “misogyny, anti-Semitism and thuggery”. Ms Barber, who starred in the hit series Silk, revealed on Twitter that she leaving the party which she supported at the general election, She said: “Long time coming. Cancelled my LP membership tonight. I can’t belong to a party full of misogyny, anti semitism & thuggery. Deeply sad.”

I'm sorry John, but that's a little bit paranoid; you don't smear the party to discourage people from voting for it, you do it to get rid of the cancerous element that would drag the party down, and make it an innefective opposition. Politics only works if there is a strong opposition, and a Labour party that is too extreme, loses credence, and can't hold the Tories to account.

Just as improbable that anyone with a modicum of intelligence would vote Labour, Johnnyboy. If they got voted into government tomorrow, I'd say our country would be f****d within months.

Barnier has set out the items that need addressing. I assume I do not need to remind you of the three important issues.
So what do the UK government do, keep harping on about a transition deal, instead of addressing those issues.
Barnier has said many times, and so has EU council, its president, and EU parliament, "transition deals are off the table until......"
As Barnier has said it was the UK's decision to leave. UK must address the issues caused by them leaving, not leave it to the EU to sort out the problems.
