BNC Plug... 75 ohm or 50 ohm, though? Read the camera manual / specs ... the BNC centre pin is a different size -- so ensure the right one is used. {Most likely domestic a/v / security camera is 75 ohm but... }

You can buy ready made 75 ohm BNC plug RG59 cable leads - which is likely to be equally as rubbish as the Philex lead from Screwfix. example: https://cpc.farnell.com/pro-signal/psg00521/bnc-plug-to-plug-10m/dp/AV14119 {Copper clad steel core, aluminium foil screen}.

Bnc plug maybe?
You can get adapters

Thanks!

But I just got back from the electrical shop and bough a BNC (I think) plug that plugs into the camera. On the other end you cut the wire and crimp it onto it. I plan to cut one of the ends off of the coaxial wire I bought from screw fix and crimp my new fitting to it. The coaxial wire is marked up with 75 Ohm. Is that OK? Will it work?
Thanks
