Chances are those chrome rings are just a clip on trim VERY careful levering with a thin blade under the edge should pop them off.
The ones shown are not top fix but shows the trim separated.
I am assuming by no fixings underneath you have a back to the wall pan which should be top fix, but some fiendish people use bottom fix ones before sealing the pan in place fingers crossed you do not have one of those!
