Strange toilet

I have a toilet where the seat has come away. No problem you may say buy a new one . Ok the problem is this toilet basin has two two holes on top as all toilets have for the seat brackets to go into but I cant access from under to tighten the screw making all seats useless. The only way to tighten is from above or rip the toilet off the wall to get access. I was told this kind of toilet you may get in pubs and clubs (anti-vandal).

Please any ideas how to fit a seat or where to get one as diy stores have no idea.

Hi. Hope I'm not to late with my reply and you've ripped your toilet out. You can buy toilet seats which fix from above so no need for access to the underside of the pan. They are fixed by asrew which when closing down into the hole, opens an expanding nylon bush which tightens the more you screw down.

Fitted one yesterday bought from www.plumbworld.co.uk. Very easy to fit from top.

Ask for a back to the wall pan toilet seat with top fixings.
