We've got an Indesit IS70C tumble dryer which is currently on the fritz - its tripping the RCD whenever its on for more than about 10 seconds.

We've been advised it could be the motor or the capacitor for the motor that is causing the problem, so have got a new capacitor to try.

However, we (husband!) is not sure how to access the motor/capacitor. He has tried taking off the smaller panel at the back but can't see the motor.

Does he need to take off the whole back of the machine?

Thanks :)
