Hi guys,

I've recently replaced the motor capacitor on my Candy GCC 590NB tumble dryer.

It's working fine now but it looks like the door isn't sealing properly as I can see steam escaping out of the door causing condensation.

The seal looks fine and I've had it apart again to adjust it slightly but with no luck.

Unfortunately I had to strip the front of the machine down to get to the capacitor.

Any tips to remedy this?

Thanks
Paul

Not being funny but obviously you have not put something back properly, personally I would go over whatever you did again, my guess would be you have split the seal or not got it fixed to the outer drum properly.

Yes I retraced my steps and photos and saw that the seal sits slightly differently to how I had it. The lip stays on the outside.

Quite a vague post in all honesty so apologies.

Right pain having to take all the front off to access the motor and even then it was fiddly to get to.

Thanks for replying.
