New to the site but in desperate need of help!!
had no hot water for days. heating is fine but when hot water was turned on at the boiler, limit stat light came on. i reset it after advice and turned water on. limit stat light never came on, SUCCESS i thought! however, within minutes the entire house was rattling and banging from the radiators. assuming it was something with the boiler still i went to turn it off and there was a bed smell of burning around it. Turned it off at the wall.
Any ideas as to what it could be?? Hoping not a new boiler needed as just paid for a new garage roof!!
