Only today I have noticed the cursor on the screen acting strangely in the above browser. (It doesn't happen in MS IE)

When i hold the cursor over text on a page, the carat appears for a brief moment, then turns back to an arrow. The same happens with the "hand" that appears over a link. Whenever I move the mouse the hand/carat flickers between that and the arrow.

Why is this happening? Everything works as it should - i can highlight text and click links.

I'm running this version, but have not noticed anything as you suggest.

Have you downloaded or upgraded anything else at the same time, or recently?

No, and the problem seems to have righted itself now. Odd. Thanks anyway.
