Fireplace Mortar mix

Afternoon all

Im going to repoint my old fireplace and am wondering what the best motar mix is?
Its a grade 2 listed building so im after recreating something simlar to the picture.

It can be bought elsewhere but I used the pink sandstone mix from,

Have a look on site for closest match.

That chimney breast and big old clock looks so homely and just right - does the clock still loudly tick & chime.
