Fireplace sealing

I'm trying to find something that will give the bricks in my fireplace a glossy wet look but I am struggling to pin down a product that actually includes in its description what I am trying to achieve. All the products that I am finding seem to be from obscure online manufacturers whereas I thought all it would take was a quick flick through the Toolstation catalogue.

Has anyone else done this and can tell me what they used?

Forgotten what it was called (perhaps colour enhancer) I got from tops tiles for a slate floor. Was glossy wet look.
