FIREPROOFING MATERIAL UNDER A CARPORT

im looking to renew the woodwork under my carport,which has a bedroom above as i need to gain access to the cables etc underneath.The board looks like some kind of asbestos(althogh i know it is not asbestos).What is this material called or will i be ok to just double board it underneath?.I am obviosly thinking about fire regs.
