Second post of the night, sorry....

LABC notified work, etc.

I tried to ring my building inspector today and much of last week, not managed to catch up yet, hopefully next week.

I know he needs to inspect the first fix, but what EXACTLY is this?

eg. Where cables are to be chased into the wall, covered with capping and plastered over, where does he need to see them?

I want to make progress this weekend, just don't want to have to end up undoing work so it can be inspected.

I know its best to get the answer from the building inspector directly, I just don't seem to be able to get hold of him.

First fix is the stage where the wires are installed but not yet connected and energised. The inspector will want to check that the cables are run in safe zones/suitably protected so get it inspected before they are plastered over/floorboards put back etc.
