Hey if first fixing for a pedestal basin what distance from the wall do you bring the waste and hot and cold pipes up at so there hidden by the pedestal.

7 1/4" from wall to centre of waste pipe then you can fit a straight thro' trap on the basin,

h+c pipes 6" from wall and 2 1/2" apart.

As NGI mentions, really need to know the dimensions from the back of the basin to waste centre. Also depends on type of trap being used, that'll determine where the pipe needs to be. All else fails then a flexi pipe from the trap to the 32mm waste pipe can be used.
