Just a Quickie..... Pedestal Basin fitting

Hello all,

just a quick question about my pedestal basin. Should it be fixed to the floor? The basin will be attached to a solid wall with the correct fixings, so does the pedestal need to be secured or is the weight of the basin enough..?

It's up to you how secure you want to make it. If I was satisfied that the basin itself was secure I might well rely on just silicone sealant to hold the pedestal in position.
