What was your first single? Mine was "Walk Like An Egyptian" by The Bangles. It cost 69p.

I don't know why I am even admitting to it but mine was 'Billy, don't be a hero' on a bus stop label. No idea of the year though.

Although I listen to music almost every single day, apart from buying singles etc of her choice for my wife,I have never ever bought a single or any other recording/s for myself. At 70 years old how sad is that! And until this First Single posting came up I never realised that I hadn't.
