First time !

Hypo' use ---- removing excess brake fluid from reservoir when changing disc pads, without inadvertently utilising the paint stripping capabilities of the fluid.

No replacement for windscreen wipers tho' ... BTW Some conjecture now about my loss of wipers (orig post) ... may have been a lump of rubber debris in the 'bow wave' ?? I reckon just worn wiper bushes .. not good at 60K m 5.25 yrs ??

Guess you use the hypo without the needle when using w paste.

I use them to administer (Ie Force) medecine down gullets of kids!

No, with the needle, honestly its great.

One of my worst motoring moments was the heater matrix in my old MkII Ford Escort deciding to fail....

Rather dramatically whilst wet and dark, driving round a bend on a fast stretch of road...

Steamy windows (Tina Turner?) and steam cleaned feet to boot. Not pleasant!

One of my most painfull motoring breakdowns was when I tried refilling my MK1 Cortina with the only fluid I could muster at the time. I should have realised that the radiator would still be hot! It wouldn't have happened if I had been a few inches taller.
