Hello,
I am planning to fit a whole-house pump to boost hot and cold (standard, open vented system). My house has an extension which includes an en-suite.
There are two 22mm cold feeds from the loft tank, one for the main house and one for the extension. How should I connect the pump to both 22mm cold supplies so all cold taps are pressurised? Is it simply a matter of using one dedicated feed from the tank into the pump and then tee-ing off the two cold pipes from the pump's output? Will that kill the pressure (ie. need higher spec pump)?
Thanks for your help!
