Hi

Fitting a integrated oven, I have solid 40mm wood worktops

Do i need any heat shields around or above the cooker, i have a induction hob fitted above the over as well

I also have a problem with the oven not fitting, it is too high about 40mm when fitted into the over carcase

The only way i can see is to remove the carcase and drop it down, and use the metal support brackets supplied but this will mean it will be lower than the bottom of the carcase and the plinth will have to be steeped around it any suggestions

Thank you for your help

The oven is designed to be installed in units so no, heat shielding is not required. The ovens dimensions normally fit under a counter unless the unit purchased is intended for a tower unit?

As said, the oven is designed to fit between cabinets, just read the install instructions & ensure any 'air gaps' specified are followed, if you need to drop the oven, then just ensure it is fitted with air flow & is secure.
