Fitted Wardrobes

Im about to buy some fitted wardrobes with bridging units going over the bed, between two wardrobes, one either side of the bed (huge pine kingsize) the problem is that the wall they need to screw onto is only a stud wall.
Will metal 'redidrivas' (plasterbord wall pugs) be sufficiant for hanging the bridging units? - they will also be attatched to both wardrobes, or not?

I read your other post about carpeting.

If the units are fixed I would carpet up to them. If they are free standing i would carpet under them.

Ask the carpet fitters to put some offcuts into the wardrobes for you to avoid bare boards. Or you could just buy some cheapo carpet tiles for the interior.

The Rigifix look great for dry lined walls but the OP said stud walls, so there is no brick or block behind. By far the best is to locate the studs and screw through the plasterboard into the timber, alternately use Rawlplug spring toggles see:
