Hi All i am going to fit a butler sink and was thinking of putting it between 2 worktops with a small piece of worktop at the back for the tap. Would this be ok i will be using the sealed ends facing the sink.
Thanks Dave

You are still likely to get water into the core because:

1. the ends do not offer a waterproof seal
2. water will run back under the overhanging edge
3. you will have two joints where the section fits at the back

Either use a worktop that is suitable for us ewith butlers sinks such as stone, solid timber or solidsurface material or buy the inset butlers but they just don't look the same.
