Currently have an open fire + oil fire central heating.

We were considering an LPG gas fire instead of open fire, but put off by LPG prices.

Decided to keep open fire, however I have a question relating to this.
Is it possible to fit a damper up inside the fireplace in order to have more control over fire, and help prevent draughts when fire not in use?
House was built in 2000 and fireplace goes str8 into a Class 3 flue

If so, anywhere i can get one purchased from online?

thanks
