Hi
Can anyone give me any advice I wish to fit french doors betweet my Lounge and Dining room. It is a single brick built load bearing wall.
Regards
Ray.

how wide will the opening be?

a double thickness concrete lintel (150mm x 100mm)may be enough to deal with the above masonry.

if it less than 1200mm then a single 100mm x 75mm pcc lintel would probably do.

above 1800mm may require calculating.
