Dear All

New to the site and need some help. I replaced a thermostat however with little electrical knowledge I replaced with a 2 x wire unit not a 3 x unit unit that was required. Consequently I blew the fuses!

I replaced fuses and then replaced the Thermostat with an identical unit a Drayton RTS1 (3 x wire system). Connected wires as per original unit i.e Blue into Neutral , Red into Live and Yellow into No 3. I however now have a new problem....

When the Central Heating is on the OFF position on the wall and I turn the thermostat until it 'clicks' the boiler and the pump come on????

Any suggestion as to what I can do would be appreciated

Maybe your fuse-blowing adventure welded the contacts in the programmer?
Maybe if you tap the prpogrammer the contacts will come apart for you. If not hit it harder, and harder, and harder, until it works or you've broken it properly.
