I plan to fit 2 smoke alarms. Can i wire them into 16A MCB which is not on the side of the RCD? Is it ok just to use 2.5mm twin and earth? I plan to wire them both off the 16A MCB on a radial circuit.
.put them on the non rcd side on a 6amp.you will need 1.5 cable max because you will never get 2 2.5 cables in the terminals of the first one.also you will need to interlink the first to the second.you cant do this if you only got two cores
