Fitting an O2 sensor to a car?

Ok, just to close this thread off - I took it to what I have heard is a decent garage.
They put their live data reader on it and he diagnosed the oxygen sensor after the cat,(not sure why that one and not the one before...I didn't ask, becasue it was the same code that my cheap with old machine gave) and after he replaced it his reader sees no issue with fuel trim/o2 etc
But , he was honest to say he couldn't be 100% sure it would be the end of the story.
So, I hope it's sorted.

If your cheap OBD reader also goes quiet, and your hard acceleration improves, then happy days.
Yes, I hope so.
Mechanic did tell me that faults like that can give OBD a 'pending' reading for quite a while before it puts engine warning light on, if it's not happening every single time you drive etc.

So, It might not be 'solved' as such, but light might not show- hopefully if it's not degrading the engine/cat and storing up trouble then happy days!
