Fitting bathroom sink waste trap - help please

Please help.
I took apart the waste trap for the bathroom sink to clear a blockage. Perhaps foolishly I left it until the next day and now I don't know which way to put it back together (I've never done this before and I have something of a fading memory).

I've attached a photo of what I think is the right way round but please correct me if not.
It's an absolute nightmare where the trap is fitted and I'm having doubts as to whether I could get it back in but I'll deal with that as and when.
