fitting conservatory blind

Does anyone know of a way to fit a conservatory blind that will avoid the handle as it sticks out about 1 inch. I need something to make the bracket stand off the frame.
Any help would be great.

Hmmm... looks like a job for a spacer to me, unless you're up to fabricating longer brackets.

I've used short lengths of 25x30mm square section UPVC trim for this sort of thing and it's OK (apart from the hole down the centre which needs to be made good). Helps if you have some offcuts, 'cos you only normally get it in 5m lengths.
