Help! I'm a newbie and quite naive!

We had a NEFF Fridge Freezer which broke down. Estimated repair costs were as much as a new one. We purchased a Hotpoint as a replacement.

On the NEFF the unit doors were hung directly onto the fridge freezer doors which had cantelevered hinges. I didn't realise until it arrived that the Hotpoint has normal door hinges - so the unit doors cannot simply be hung on them.

Am I right in thinking that I will have to hang the unit doors on hinges too. Do I need special hinges or will normal kitchen unit hinges do?

There were no fitting instructions with the Hotpoint, just four sliders with right-angled brackets on them which I assume connect the inner and outer doors - but how?

is it a intergrated hotpoint ff if so call hotpoint .alot of screwing and drilling req,

After a sleepless night I think I got it sussed. The sliders fit on the unit door and the angle bracket is screwed to the front edge of the fridge/freezer door (for some reason I thought it was the other way round and couldn't figure out how to fit the brackets).

It is unfortunate that the unit doors were not drilled for those special hinges they use. I'll have to see what B&Q can offer. I tried to locate the unit's manufacturer MatchMaker but their website has closed down.
