if i just screw it in, it feels AWFULLY lose, and so i ask -

is ptfe tape alone enough to make a thread seal? should there be a washer of some sort between the cock and tank outlet?

decent clys to bs 1566 normally have a 1/2 inch tapping for the drain off plenty of ptfe[i prefer hemp/paste]
