been quoted £90 for an engineer to do this but the part is only £10,mind you it fell out after just over a year!!

is it an easy enough job or should i get the experts in?

it probably fell out after washing a pair of trainers.
it's a doddle to fit but beware there are two versions so make sure you get the right ones. if the price you've ben quoted includes postage then you may as well get a full set.
if you look at the drum you will see an area that locks onto the lifter. bend this slightly upwards to get a better grip. then making sure that all lugs on the lifter are properly located, push it gently towards the rear of the drum until it clicks into place. job done!

think that price is for one but might get the set while im there, cheers keith. ;)
