after placing the ceramic lid on the toilet cistern, i'm screwing the button housing through the lid & into the plastic flushing system. Screwed in all the way the lid is not held as there is still a 2 or 3mm gap between chromed plastic component & the ceramic lid.
If i adjust the system down by removing & refitting clips the button housing screws down nicely but the duel flush buttons are about 15mm sub flush, down inside their housing! ? :(
Is there any other adjustment that can be done to ensure a firmly held lid & good lookin' flush buttons?
