Hello,

I am getting into DIY, and beginning with the basics...

We want to fit some roller blinds to our windows - and ideally to the window itself (so it is inside the recess). However, not sure if it is possible - whether the wooden frame is sufficiently deep to screw on roller blinds. I've attached some pictures... any help would be greatly appreciated

Many, many thanks!

Nick

Would be fine to attach to, the problem you would have will be that you wouldn't be able to open them very wide once the blind was on as it opens against the recess/wall.

Thinking about it, measure the distance from the window and the wall when its open as it could be OK.
