I am looking for some advice on how / where to fit venetian wooden blinds on a window that opens inwards, there is wooden frame round the wall that is about 7 inches between the lip of the windowsil and the actual window.

When opening the window from the top (tilt) it opens to almost the full depth of the windowsil, so if venetians were installed in the recess the window hit of them.

Any suggestions on how to fit, or if there is a special type of venetian wooden blind fit I need to get
