This was a very old thread so I have started a fresh one.
I would like to fit a rubber push-on shower attachment for my bath mixer tap. Croydex do one but it only fits round or oval section taps. Mine is neither - see photo. It occurred to me whether it might be possible to remove the screw- in nozzle and fit an adaptor with the same thread. This would make it easy to attach a hose or any shower attachment.
The alternative but more expensive option is to change the whole tap for one with a fixed shower outlet. It looks like it might be a straight swap as the tap centres are the same. This would only be a backup or second shower as we have a plumbed in 20260829_080815.jpg mixer in another room.
Any advice appreciated.
