Have just installed a new wall shower but fitted shower curtains instead of glass shower enclosure. Now finding water getting onto the bathroom floor and then leaking into lower floor, through the downlight in our kitchen. It happens when the kids go for the shower and not drawing the curtains properly.

Is it better to install a shower enclosure or are there better designed curtains?

The main reason we had installed the shower curtains, is due to easy maintenance, where with enclosures you have to clean it nearly every day, but now we have to seriously consider it, as we can’t have water leaking through the downlight.

How much do we expect to pay a plumber to install for a Quadrant glass shower enclosures? Are there particular features we should look out for?
