Want to replace old toilet with this new one-

Questions- the cistern on new one is 51.5cm but old one 45cm . Is there enough space in gap between sink I reckon would need 3.5cm I've got 4 or 4.5. I'm sure plumber friend can fit copper pipe into entry point into bottom (old one went into top).

It's about 5cm shorter which means I'd need to tile first behind and let it all go off? Few days with no toilet?

Basic question to undo the copper pipe inlet do u just take off that nut and toilet will come off?

New toilet £378. Burlington

On the inlet, yes. Isolate the water, undo the union nut on the copper pipe and the fill valve tail, then the cistern lifts off the pan. The bottom entry conversion is fine, your plumber friend can fit a new bottom-entry float valve in ten minutes. I would tile first and let it set properly though, a toilet sat on fresh adhesive is a recipe for a cracked pan and a leak at the pan connector.
