I am trying to install a zone 1 bathroom light but not certain how to waterproof the unused wires that come out of the ceiling rose.Advice please.

what un-used wires?
The ceiling rose has to be removed,so all the remaining wires from the ceiling rose

well surely they are still in use? switch wire, loop in, loop out?
Will they not fit, inside separate connector blocks inside the fitting?
I went with an adaptable box + glands in the loft for my ceiling rose removal (non-bathroom)
