Hi guys,
I have the following cabinet which I need to attach to a dot and dab wall (single course of brick -> gap -> plasterboard/plaster.
http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/70217671/
The cabinet is 17kg in weight and has in both top corners points to attach the item to the wall.
At the back of cabinet is a 1cm gap between the wall and these points.
I am considering using a screw of length 90mm with a dryline pro (http://www.drylinepro.com/DrylinePro-Products/8-Fixing-Kit.html)
10mm for cabinet/wall gap, assuming around 10mm for gap and 70mm into the brick (these are on average around 100mm thick??)
Does this seem sensible?
