Hey all - I have 2 rectangular raised garden beds in my new back yard. They look to have been well made - however they have been rendered very badly (uneven) and then painted with masonry paint.

I need to get them smooth and was trying to find some kind of skim coat for render (cement sand render) that could be applied but can't seem to find anything. Any ideas.. or should I be looking to get them re-rendered?

Thanks in advance.

I would get them re-rendered. Probably as quick to do it that way. Some people might like the "rustic" look, but you cannot compare that to a job that has been "badly" done.

Roughcaster.
