fixing a radiator

I have a leaky rad it seems to be leaking from a crack in the mid bottom area what steps shoul i go about in fixing it. And could this cause the furnace to need to be refilled more frequently. :shock

REplace rad unless it's a crack youcan get welded. If it's rust, forget it.

Yes that will lose your pressure.
