Fixing a wooden fence post to brickwork

I'm looking to secure a 100x100mm wooden fence post to the side of the house to hang a gate, can somebody please advise the best fixings.
ie sleeve anchors or rawl plugs or?

I would use thunder bolts that self tap into the brick work but also use fischer chemical mortar with it to help anchor into the wall

we normally use a 50 x 100mm wall plate and three thunder bolts or rawlbolts are more than sufficent
