I am assembling Halo acrylic bath to replace cast iron and notice that it has two wall fixing brackets but they look more trouble than there worth. Any advice please?

A lot less trouble than not using them.

Simple to install.

Assemble bath with legs, put in position and level off. Score a line at opposite corners where bath meets wall. Move bath and fix brackets to this line. complete assembly of bath, (waste, taps ect.) and slot back in position over brackets.

Job done.

The point I didn't mention about the brackets that they have slots 2.5cm long so it looks as though the screw is hardly likely to hold and you cannot get at one of the screws when the bath is in its place.

Slots, one verticle and one horzontal are for positioning and leveling.
Both screws are fitted whilst bath is away from wall, and bath slots over.

Sure you got the bath right way up
