I have done a quick sketch of a chimney which i have plasterboarded ready for skimming. I'm just a little unsure how to angle bead the front corner/edge of the chimney where it changes from vertical to diagonal? Do i cut lengths to suit the three edges and join them at the corners and get them to meet as closely as possible?

I hope this makes sense??

You have it spot on Andrew, but the only thing other you will have to do is, snip the corners off of some of the beads, (as if you're mitreing the corners) , that'll save them overlapping onto each other. You'll see what I mean as you put them on.

Roughcaster.
