Hello all. I am installing some bifold doors and the head butts directly onto the underside of an RSJ.

Being 5m long and made of oak obviously the head sags in the middle due to length/weight. The rsj is thick and bottom section is about 10/12mm I believe.

I am considering using an approved adhesive and something like tek screws to fix it securely, as the doors are sliding all the weight is on the rail attached to the head so has to be a good bond.

Has anybody done this or have any solutions,All advice would be grately appreciated.

Thanks again
