Fixing plaster after tile removal

I've searched the Internet and youtube but the answers seem to change with every resource I look at.

I removed bathroom tiles today and took some of the final plaster coat with them.

I'm tiling again so need to get the surface flush with the rest of the wall.

I'm struggling to ascertain what the best product to do this with is.

All advice gratefully received.

Plaster fill areas with multi finish plaster.

Could also use other products like easyfill or one coat plaster but not my preferred way.

There is a YouTube channel called... On the trowel..
Kirk shows you how to prep and plaster areas. Maybe go watch him for interest
 
Remove loose bits of plaster and apply PVA to the surface then apply thistle multi finish plaster.
