fixing plasterboards to walls

I've stripped tiles from the walls in my bathroom, a lot of the original plaster has come away with the tiles. I was thinking the easiet way round this would be to plasterboard the walls as i'm goung to tile them again. But how do you fix the plasterboard to the origional walls[/b]

strip the old plaster off completely, PVA the bricks and dot n dab the boards onto the wall.

If you're tiling them again, consider getting a local plasterer to skim the walls, but tell him the finish isn't important, he'll spend less time and charge you less. ;)

It depends on how the walls are constructed. Are they solid or stud for starters?
