Hi,

I have recently had a new combi boiler fitted, but I have now had a tap fail and needs replacing. The problem is that now the hot side is under mains pressure, how do I go about turning the flow off so I can dismantle it and fix/replace the tap?? I used to turn off the flow to the tank and drain it, but now I have no idea what to do.

Help please!

If u turn off the cold main ur hot water will be off as well as combi is fed with mains cold water. :)

Alternatively , on the cold supply pipe going into the boiler there will be an isolating tap of some sort.
