Hi there,
I'm looking to drill into a party wall in a Victorian/Edwardian type terraced house for the purpose of fixing on a timber frame. Off the timber frame I'll be hanging 3d effect wall panelling (Kronowall 3d manufactured by kronospan, like this: https://www.saleflooringdirect.co.u...ll-3D-Wall-Panelling-Rusty-Barnwood-k061.html ).
I'm imagining the party wall is 9" thick. The manufacturer's guidance says to allow for 10kg per square metre, and I have a 9 square metres to do, so 90kg.
I'm basically whether anybody knows would this count as minor works under the party wall legislation? The weight would be fine right and I wouldn't need any permissions from next door? Is there anything else to consider?
Thanks in advance
Rikki
